Signal Flow for Live Events and Webcasts
Read it from left to right. Sources such as cameras, remote guests, playout laptops, stage boxes and wireless microphones feed in over SDI and HDMI cables or across the network using NDI, SRT, RTMP, Dante and AES67. Vision is mixed on Blackmagic ATEM or vMix and sound on Yamaha or Allen & Heath consoles. The finished programme then goes out to the live webcast, LED walls and screens, and the venue PA and in-ear monitors.
